Hi everyone!
Since signing up last minute for the Skift Global Forum last week, I’ve been getting lots of emails from travel professionals who will be in attendance and who want to meet up there. Apparently, folks are (smartly) checking the attendee list to see who will be there so they can chat biz face-to-face. I’m down.
Will you be there? Come say hi! It’s unlikely I’ll be scheduling any more one-off meetings at the event since I plan on attending all the lectures, but if you see me there, say hi! Look for the short-haired woman in sensible sandals (and with a fresh pedi!) who likely looks a bit less relaxed than she did when taking the above pic in a quaint costal town in Slovenia a few months ago. :)
And if you don’t catch me there, read below to learn how to schedule a one-on-one with me next week.

Slow Summer Sessions Next Week
So….I introduced Slow Summer Sessions in late summer to address the demand for private consultations while also acknowledging times are tough and budgets are lean. However, then I decided to take the rest of the summer off, which kind of isn’t fair, is it? Technically, it’s still summer, so I’m going to offer a few slots for discounted one-on-one calls with me next week.
The price will be $95 for 30 minutes and only $80 if you’re an annual paid subscriber to my newsletter.
Find more info below and reply if you’d like to set something up! Here’s my availability:
9am - 4pm EDT Tuesday, September 24
12am - 5pm EDT Thursday, September 26
9am - 1pm pm EDT Friday, September 27

Why Book a Private Consult?
I offer private 1:1 phone and video calls with outdoor brands, travel brands, hotels, tour companies, destination managers, and more. We can chat trends, specific publications, SEO, affiliate networks, pitching, or whatever you want.
Wondering what others are saying about private calls they’ve booked with me? Here you go:
“Cassandra and I were able to cover so much in just 30 minutes. I got to ask questions about how various outlets she writes for function that I would have no other way of knowing about. She gave me great feedback on potential avenues for several of my clients, which helped me identify a few new angles and approaches to pursue that I never would have thought of on my own. Time and money well spent!”
- Jason Simms, Principal - Theirsay
“My coaching session with Cassandra was exceptional! She exceeded my expectations. I took about 2 pages of notes, and had about 7-key takeaways that I would never have thought of on my own. including where to pitch and new pitch angles. It was refreshing and insightful, so much so that I got about to pitching and heard back from The New York Times Travel section. I definitely recommend working with Cassandra, if you're looking to get more press. She's super smart and knows her stuff.”
- Elina Leclaire, Owner – Glampful Campground
"As someone who values authentic connections with writers, booking a one-on-one meeting with Cassandra was a no-brainer for me. Her undivided attention and immediate feedback were priceless. Our session was jam-packed. In just 30 minutes, we covered an array of topics from what editors are looking for and her preferences, to live pitching each of my clients, eliminating the need for numerous emails and potentially saving hours of our time for both of us. Her feedback and interests were so clear. What truly impressed me was walking away with three tangible story ideas/angles to pursue. I look forward to booking another session with Cassandra in the future."
