From puffins to pavement

First off - how freaking cute is that puffin? I was lucky enough to plop myself down near a cliff in the Shetland Islands a couple weeks ago that happened to be the site of dozens of puffin nests. The birds slowly gathered around their homes and they were only about 5-10 feet from me. I sat in silence for over an hour, captivated by their daily lives.
