Hello from Brooklyn!
I am super psyched that my first review just published for the travel section of CNN Underscored. I wrote it about a travel backpack that I took with me to Sri Lanka, and this was one of several articles I worked on while I was there. It was a ton of work and I submitted probably 40 photos for review, but my editor told me I “absolutely nailed” and that my “hard work didn’t go unnoticed” and that he’s considering my other pitches right now. Woohoo! Hard work pays off!

P.S. That pic is from a 6am fish market tour I took in Negombo, Sri Lanka on my first day there. The early wake up and the fish funk were worth that beautiful bike pic.
