Right??? Like, do I really want to spend two full days traveling to and from a destination for an exhausting 3-day trip so I can then spend the next two months struggling to find an outlet to pay me $200 to write an article? No, I don't. I'd rather stay home and look for other work that pays well.
That is so real. I never made more money than when I was home in the pandemic. Even going back and forth into Manhattan drains my pockets. I'm always posting "no car no Keke" if you don't have a rideshare credit you need SOMEONE but not ME.
I heard that! But we are confusing them because I'm over here like "I'm trying to save the environment and I'm not trying to sit in Midtown traffic at rush hour - I can take the train and you should just give me a Visa gift card instead of that Uber credit." :)
Press trip debt is so real! Then they wonder why all of the coverage come from the same kind of people!
