As promised, I’m starting a new series on How to Send the Perfect Pitch.
I got a lot of great feedback from my posts on 10 Reasons Why You Weren’t Included in My Forbes Roundup and Differentiating Between the Four Forbes Commerce Sections I Write For and this series will build on those. Considering I just put out this call for product pitches for four more Forbes fashion articles (and you still have a few days to submit products for some), now might be a good time to study up on how to send a great pitch.
This pitch series will mostly be focused on how to get your product included in commerce features and review roundups for Forbes, Reader’s Digest, The Daily Beast, and other outlets with commerce sections. I’ll focus on outlets I write for (like those three) but the concepts will apply to any outlet that has a commerce section, particularly if they require affiliate commission.
So, without further ado, So, without further ado, here’s how to send me a perfect pitch, using my recent Forbes Best Backpacks for Men pitch call as an example.
